Karen Sanderson

Karen is a highly experienced employment lawyer advising companies, HR professionals, in-house lawyers, senior management and senior executives on a full range of employment issues, both contentious and non-contentious.

She advises on issues such as settlement agreements, family friendly rights, discrimination, disciplinary and grievance issues, managing attendance, Employment Tribunal claims, trade union issues, whistleblowing, redundancy, restructuring, corporate transactions, outsourcing, insourcing and TUPE.

Her style is to listen to her client’s aims and then provide advice in a format to suit them on how the law can be deployed to reach those aims in the most effective and practical way.

Karen has been a recommended lawyer in Legal 500 since 2013 and is recognised as a leading individual in the North West.

Karen set up Bradshaw Trees Law in 2021, having worked as a Consultant Employment Partner at Analysis Legal LLP for 5 years.  Prior to this, she set up and headed the employment team in the Manchester office of Shoosmiths LLP, and spent 10 years at Addleshaw Goddard LLP.  Karen has also run training courses on employment law issues for MBL Seminars.

Examples of work handled by Karen includes:

* acting for a large security company on their employment law matters, including representing them on Tribunal claims
